So…
Getting my drains out didn’t hurt, but it was a VERY weird feeling. I had no idea that they went as far into me as they did. It was not a good feeling, but on the bright side, I never have to do it again!
So now my dad is out at CVS buying bandaids and such so that I can take a shower (because I need them to cover my nipples and such after I get out).
I will take a picture right before getting in the shower (or maybe after getting out…), and I may or may not post it here, but I want to document my healing process in some way… So if I can get a picture of my (gross) nipples, it will be cool to look back on the picture in a year or so and say “Wow, look how far I have come!”
Thank you to all of you who have been supporting me from the day that I scheduled my surgery and who continue to support me now!
